I could easily see my interest in the NBA waning in the future because of it.

An adjustment is needed. The foul calls on the inside are nothing like around the 3 point line. And either moving out or reducing the value of a 3 seems to be the move to reset the analytics.

There was a five minute stretch in the early fourth when Harden was on the bench that was putrid on both sides. Just terrible basketball by both teams

Imagine it will get moved back here in the next five years. Morey and his analytics movement have kinda broken the league offensively hasn’t it. 6 of the top 14 offenses all time in the last three seasons.
