Celtics have not received any assurances from Kawhi Leonard that he wants to come here.

Unless that changes, I don't know why the Celts would risk anything including Kyrie, Hayward, Brown or Tatum.

Kyrie plus someone for Kawhi is just a trade of one year risks where the Celts also lose someone.

Did Kevin Durant really opt out of his contract or was that fake news?

I think Lonzo has a bright future but he has quite a bit of development to do to be on the floor for major minutes in a playoff series like that

Spurs gonna be stacked when they get 3 starters for Leonard

Add that to Aldridge and Ginobli and Parker and they are a top 3 West team

gary washburn @GwashburnGlobe Hearing Jaylen Brown has NOT been discussed in any potential deal for Kawhi Leonard. #Celtics are taking conservative approach in talks with #Spurs.

They wouldn't be a top 3 team out West, but I do like that foundation if they could land Ingram and Kuz to Murray and Walker. I think Walker is going to outplay his draft slot by a lot.

But a Dwight Howard on a minimum deal would work.

When has Dwight Howard ever worked? He seems to be an unlikeable cancer to the locker room. And he can give you decent numbers, but can he accept a reduced role? If he would go to that team in LA, and do nothing but rebound and play D then it’s a no brained. I see him wanting the ball, and it would be wasted possessions on a team that good.

Other than the Warriors and arguably the Rockets, who else in the west has a better roster than the Spurs?

You guys remember when Michael Jordan called up Hakeem Olajuwon, Karl Malone, Tim Hardaway, and Grant Hill up asking if he could join their team?

I don't.

this was always gonna happen. Adds some spice to it with the what ifs but him resigning is a foregone conclusion.

If I'm a team official and I'm considering Dwight, I'd have to get the idea that he feels he needs to rehab his image. That's the only way I'd take him on, if he realizes that he's running out of chances.

Keep talking, revealing how little you know about the NBA.
