That’s the only way I think it would work. Your best lineup in that scenario is going to be

Some PG (Rondo or Sato?)
Holiday
Porter
Mirotic
Davis

With Sato that’s a long athletic lineup with shooting that would be tough to deal with. Just a little short on playmaking.

I agree. Problem is AD has made it known several times he doesn’t want to play C. Hence why you have dumb arse moves from Demps like the Asik trade and giving him a 5 yr deal

I'm hoping that after this playoff run he's reconsidered his position.

Pun intended.

Uhhh Washington

I don't think they should even trade Otto for Cousins coming off an achilles. That roster is a mess either way though.

That roster is a mess, but they need to make some changes.

A healthy boogie and I think they try to trade.

This coupled with what Magic said today tells me Lebron is clearly joining the Pels.

If it's to Dallas it better damn well be well before the deadline as in the next couple weeks

Not sure how popular this would be but the Wizards need to unload Wall now. Probably won’t get much because of his deal but that contract is going to be horrific

Not have to pay him like 50 million when he’s in his early 30s

If they can get a package like the Clippers got for Griffin I’m not even sure they would be much worse on the court in the short term

I don't think they can. There are very few players worth 40 mil per season, and Wall is not one of them. That contract basically turned their best player into a "negative"

Yeah likely not, and if you’re just getting shorter term bad money back from someone else it’s obviously not worth it. I also can’t believe Grunfeld has been their GM since 2003

I’m not sure there’s a longer tenured front office exec with the same team in major sports who’s accomplished so little
