Not sure what you're referring to?

didnt they give AD a rose max even when he still didnt technically qualify and would have reverted back to a normal max contract if he failed to meet the requirement in his final season of his rookie deal? or am i high and remembering that wrong?

Why not?
That would be 1 pretty good reason.

He didn't end up qualifying for the Rose max, so he just got the standard 25% max.

I'm just being a smartass because there are some people who believe that Draymond is a top 10 player in the league. If he's as good as some say, why doesn't he deserve the supermax (if he qualifies)?
Posted on 6/13/18 at 10:52 am to Epic Cajun
right. but that was the offer right? the spurs could offer him the super max right now to kick in after next year given he makes an all nba team this year and if he doesnt, have it revert back to a normal max

Hmm, maybe. I honestly don't remember. I think you're right that most contract extensions can be structured that way, but I don't think we've seen it happen with a supermax contract.

You mean the Warriors, right?

Let's set record straight on something that seems to have been lost in aggregation. I made a comment about Dan Gilbert and teambuilding on a pod last week. That was my comment & was not a quote from Dan nor was it attributed to Dan. It was not a report, it was a comment. Carry on

For some reason I thought we were talking kawhi

Oh
If we're talking about Kawhi, then he qualifies for the DPE this offseason. He made All NBA two out of the last 3 seasons and is going into his 8th year.
I was talking about Draymond this whole time.

I thought kawhi was still on year 7. I failed here

The GSW will reach a critical mass as far as these salaries go.
Theoretically they can pay these guys indefinitely but I have to figure they'll be in the red in another year or so.

Last night somebody tweeted about people wanting Dame traded. Dame quoted it and said "Careful what they wish for"

There’s a very real chance the Kings would take Michael Porter Jr. at No. 2, but it’s unclear how the canceling of the Friday workout in Chicago might impact the process. They want more intel on medical and another look. Teams are being told that the workout will be rescheduled.
These teams are actually going to let the best player in the draft fall to Dallas at 5

GSW is moving into their new building in 2019-20

I would take Porter Jr. (pending health) and Doncic over any player not named Ayton. And, I'm not even 100% sold on Ayton being the best player in the draft.

Can we all agree that if LeBron goes to the West the NBA needs to just send the 16 best teams to the playoff regardless of conference? It's going to be bullshite when some crap team like the Pistons or Hornets makes the playoffs in the East while a team like the Thunder or Nuggets will miss in the West.

Him deserving it and the Warriors giving him it are not mutually exclusive
