Does Kawhi to Toronto make it easier for lakers to trade for him? Raptors in for a mini rebuild and probably not as stubborn as Pop

Lakers can trade expiring contracts and Kuzma for Leonard half way through the season.

Yeah. If I'm the Lakers, I'd do Kuzma and expirings for Kawhi right now.
The Raptors can win the East with Kawhi, Lowry, Green and the remainder of their core. They have no incentive to cash out.
This is a calculated gamble to try to make the Finals this year and convince Kawhi to stay.

I don't think even Toronto believes they can convince him to stay. They were never winning with what they had. So they've put it all on this year with no more Lebron. Next summer will be interesting to see what they do
