People are giving him shite for taking the longer deal, but this guy did almost already end his career under the basket a few years ago, maybe he likes the security

Now the only thing is he turned down way more money and years by not signing with Indy which kind of negates that

I said earlier this week that he should take the 5 year salary because of the security. Leaving a year on the table really doesn’t make sense in that regard.

Do people actually see the PG13 staying as a good basketball decision or is everyone just laughing at the egg on Lakers' face?

Nope. The Thunder with Westbrook and no KD/Harden can't even get out of the first round. Ceiling for them with everything going well is probably second round, or arse-beating in the WCF. Unbelievably flawed team until Westbrook buys in.

Melo being on the team and making $27MM is WAY more damaging than Russ not "buying in."

Sources: As he becomes eligible for five-year maximum rookie extension, Phoenix Suns' Devin Booker is upset with the front office over release of best friend Tyler Ulis, who started 43 games last season.

Why would PHX release Ulis?

Because he's not good.

Basically Booker demanded the team win now saying he never wants to miss the playoffs again. The Suns make a bunch of moves to get better and then Booker gets mad because they released his friend who just isn't good enough.

What kind of baby bullshite is that?

Holy lack of maturity and understanding of how the league works.

Yeah, I think he'll be mad and get over it soon. Can't see him turning down 5 years for 150 million over this. But if he became the first rookie to turn down a max extension, that would be so PHX.

I'm sure he'll get over it. His agent will flick him in the forehead and explain how ridiculous he's being.

The end.

Yeah I mean lol at the Lakers of course but holy shite that team is basically at the salary cap with just Westbrook, George, and Adams for the next 3 years.

It's also very possible Shams texted somebody about Booker's feelings on Ulis being dropped and it went

"Is he upset"

"I mean, he's pretty bummed about it"

And then Shams tweeted.
