Source: Most teams expect the Orlando Magic to match any offer for RFA Aaron Gordon, so an offer sheet is unlikely to come.
This benefits Orlando as far as potentially keeping costs down in a new deal for Gordon
Why wouldn't teams offer him more then?
I guess I just don't understand this well enough.

My second team will be much improved next year!

Me neither. I would think teams would offer more now

Told y'all Phoenix was a legit threat to get him. Shows how uninformed "whatiknowsofar" is.
I knew Ariza wanted to get paid. Didn't want to lose him but can't pay him that much.
Hey get paid or get bounced in the WCF for the next two years. You decide.
RIP Rox title hopes

That’s all Ed Davis gets? I thought he’d get a couple mill more than that.

This is a wonderful deal for us. It's like the JJ deal Philly pulled off. Bring him in. Let him positively impact the young players. You can always pay him next year potentially. Or you let him walk and have your cap space back. Fully expecting this to lead to a trade for Pat Bev or Kemba now though. That's almost all our cap space with no PG other than Knight/Okobo on the roster.

Windhorst: Cavs are worried

You are, honest to god, going to act like ramona, windhorst, woj, even fricking Vegas haven't been pointing to lebron favoring the Lakers the past two days?
He’s going to LA. It’s a weird situation though given his age.
Bottom line he ain’t winning titles in LA or CLE

Money is so tight that free agents and teams aren't waiting on LeBron James as we've seen in the past. Teams have a finite amount of cash to splash and free agents are grabbing it. Quickly

Free agent forward Ed Davis has agreed to a one-year, $4.4M deal with the Brooklyn Nets, league sources tell ESPN.
Damn. Loved Ed. Wish the Rockets would have made a run at him.

Congrats jack, you got a nice little roster now. Just gotta shed Knight and Chandler

Have we reached the point of FA where Boom has left to do family stuff or something now that he's taken a monumental L in like 4 minutes?
Posted on 6/30/18 at 11:46 pm to Dawgsontop34
There are no signs for lebron going to LA

The Nets making smart moves...?? Interesting...

Expect more one-year deals coming down the pike. PHX is just about out of cap space.

@GeraldBourguet
Sooooo current #Suns wings now include Josh Jackson, T.J. Warren, Mikal Bridges, Trevor Ariza, Troy Daniels, Jared Dudley, Davon Reed and George King.
Either a big name there is gone or McDonough is building an airplane.
