Now how hard is everyone go to try to get Lebron to be the inaugural recipient?

Is this you projecting because the players forced AD to get the MVP in NO?

ETA: Are you even a Pels fan? It’s the only angle I can figure out after reading your OP.

This is a good compromise instead of changing the logo.

Why not have the greatest basketball player, arguably athlete, of all time to hoist the first inaugural Kobe Bryant award?

I guess it really matters how you die. It was shocking and just unusual circumstances. So I get why people are so excited about it. I just don't understand why its been so dramtic and people can't let go..

It's hard for me to believe Kobe is only the 3rd NBA MVP to pass away (Wilt, Moses Malone) in the nearly 70 years of the league. I checked the NFL and counted at least 9 (didn't check the years they gave an NFC/AFC award). From what I can tell Kobe is the youngest out of all of them by nearly 20 years.

Bruh one of the greatest players died unexpectedly. This would be like if Bo Nix died.

File this under reacting without thinking. What are they going to do if Lebron James or Michael Jordan dies in a plane crash or automobile crash in the next twenty years?

Still wouldn't be as shocking as Kobe dying at 41 opposed to Jordan in his 70s or Lebron in his mid-late 50s.

I’m right most of the time. You just grew up on digital, and don’t know how to use a real clock.
