The Charlotte Hornets will sign Lance Stephenson to a 3-year contract, the last season a team option, the Observer has learned.

Under terms of the deal Stephenson will make $9 million next season and in 2015-16, with a slight raise in the 2016-17 team option.

He couldn't get that deal from Indiana?
Pacers just got a lot worse.

The antics cost this guy A LOT of money.

Gordon Hayward got a max deal. Lance Stephenson got 3/27. Stephenson is a much better player and younger.

Pacers' window just might be shut at this point, barring something unforseen

Hornets continue to improve.

They have much better depth now. The only real contributor from last year they lost was McRoberts and they gained Vonleh/Hairston through the draft, Marvin Williams, and Lance Stephenson. And Woj is reporting they're battling with Atlanta right now for Boozer.

Pacers need to find a way to upgrade their PG spot or get another scorer off the bench. Paul George can't be the only scoring option come playoff time.

Figures that as soon as they ditch the Bobcats name they become relevant. It's going to be cool to see the Charlotte Hornets again.

David west was their most consistent player in the playoffs last year, not George.

They need to trade hibbert for dragic

What's the deal with Bledsoe? Is he going anywhere? I've bend out of the loop for the past week

that's a GREAT deal on the Charlotte end, and a perfect fit for Lance (provided he can stay reasonably in check). I always thought they were the place he'd most likely end up if he left Indy, but Charlotte might have to overpay to get him there.

Word is he's like Hayward, any offer would be matched by the Suns so just a waste of time really

And don't worry Jimi, my NBA 2K15 team will have Stephenson on the Mavs, we'll be set
