Not trying to be an arse, but what qualifies you guys to make these claims? Medicine has come a long, long ways even in the past 5 years. You should see how cool the meniscal repair devices are and how great the ACL repairs are.
I have no idea if Rose will be the same or not, but the Bulls wisely have been cautious with him and I would feel safe in saying he'll be fine.
Remember, unqualified people were saying the same junk about Westbrook. And he's obviously just fine if you happened to watch the playoffs this year.

Even as a Bulls fan, I highly doubt Rose will be Rose this year.
Even if he manages to play a full season, he has only played 50 games in 3 years. Honestly, this WILL be only his FIFTH NBA regular season if he stays healthy.
Westbrook is 20x the player Rose is right now. If Rose even gets to half of what Westbrook is, the Bulls should be the clear favorites to get out of the East.
But I'm predicting he won't. I do think he will last the entire season though. I think the Bulls make the ECF, but lose to the East Champ, either Cleveland or Indiana IMO.
