What's crazy is that the Nets gave up 3 1st round draft picks for 1 year of over the hill Garnett and Pierce

yea i mean in hindsight it turned out ok. But it giftwrapped the Lakers back to back titles at the time. And you knew the two 1st round picks memphis got werent going to be anything special. Who else did they get? Crittenton and Kwame Brown?

Pau Gasol era - 2 postseason trips, zero wins

Marc Gasol era- 4 consecutive trips to the playoffs, 1 WCF appearance, 2 50 win seasons, and 21 total playoff victories

I think we did alright

It was a terrible trade when it happened

I have no sympathy for lakers FAs that cry about basketball reasons. frick that noise, it cost Boston a back to back championship

They got a 19/9/1.5 27 yr old five for $.20 on the dollar

You're talking to delusional fans that believe that Marc Gasol is the best center in the league.

He's top 3, Dwight is the best center in the league.

Well I'm glad we were able to successfully derail this thread because your apparently the last person who pays any attention to the league that thinks the Grizzlies got screwed in that trade.

Good job.

No Deng, no Ariza and now, possibly, no Parsons. What will Cuban do?

Stephenson's name was mentioned earlier in connection to them. I wouldn't be surprised to see them re-sign Marion as well.

Anyone who think the Grizzlies got screwed in that deal know next to nothing about the NBA. That team was headed nowhere with Pau as the star

What he should do. Sign Lance. He's the best of that group anyway.
