He def isnt gonna join someone else to make a super team. he has too much competitive spirit to do that. as do most star players. Lebron and kevin were the exceptions.

Lets say that the Cavs trade for Paul (Thompson and Knight expirings, no picks). Would that be enough to get the Cavs back in the playoffs? Paul would be a great mentor for Sexton and Garland. It would be a deep team..

Fair enough, just a thought. I don't think it would be a horrible team and those expiring deals aren't doing anything for them anyway. I like bringing in vets to mentor young players. If they stay reasonable healthy, I think that is a 6th or 7th seed in the East..
