I don’t blame the Lakers at all, but it’s such a shitty situation, and he basically has you over a barrel. The 5 has been his best position since he bulked up to 250+ lbs after his 3rd season, but his insistence on playing the 4 was integral to some very stupid decisions that our front office made.
I guess it’s both frustrating and oddly enough a relief to see that he’s held the same stance. Frustrating, because he basically refuses to embrace a move that would make the team better, and a relief because it wasn’t just a Pelicans problem, it just is who he is.
