Dallas went into free agency with $30 million in cap space, has signed nothing but backups, and is now straight fricking punting on this season. Cuban went on the radio today and said that Delon Wright was the first player they called after Kemba went to Boston. What the fricking frick is this bullshite?

Hasn't this happening like 12 times in the last 10 years for Cubes?

Probably a good thing. I wouldn’t want to stunt Lukas development by bringing in a ball dominant player.

I’d rather let Luka develop and easy KP in while piecing together a deep roster and keeping flexibility and go for in the following seasons

Now that Kawhi has signed a 2+1, Mr. Perfect and Yung Arye have officially gotten everything wrong.

Guys like Bojan ad Brogdon wouldn't have hurt Luka's development. They would have aided it as it would have opened up more space for him to work. There is no excuse for how poorly the Mavs handled free agency. The fact that Cuban is pretending they only missed out on one guy they wanted and that Delon Wright was their first call after Kemba agreed to go to Boston is a complete joke.

Do you really want to sign those guys for 20 mil when you still have to max out Luka in a few years?

Hell yes. They would be able to go over the cap to keep Luka if need be. If they stink? Oh well, no contract is untradeable and both would be decent assents that could be flipped for smaller parts.

Stop drinking the Mavs brass kool aid. They straight up failed in free agency. Again. They are lying to the fan base. Again.

At this point hte only thing that could save the offseason is if a good player a team is dumping over salary falls into their lap and the odds of that are extremely low.

I didn't even know he was hurting, but now that I do, yes, this is the time to kick him when he's down. It's actually always the time to kick him.

I think KP is going to have to prove he can stay healthy before Dallas can land any signifcant FAs. Luka is just so young still. No one is going to view a badass 20 YO by himself as a destination.

You're right to feel like Cuban is BSing you and has failed in the past. I don't think this is an offseason to be upset he didn't land anyone though.

Apparently the Mavs and Grizz are discussing a trade for Iggy. Mavs give up Courtney Lee and a 2nd.

I think Seth Curry is an overpay but all in all the Mavs had a decent offseason. They weren’t going to get any of the big names. Once Luka is nearing the end of his rookie contract, it’ll be time to judge Dallas. Next offseason doesn’t have much but 2021 and 2022 will have a lot of names.
