Lakers recovered nicely from Kawhi choosing the Clippers.

Agreed. Acquired some good role players/outside shooting. Going to be a tough team.

Had an uphill battle and did a pretty good job.

He might start. But I really like him and Cousins providing the scoring for the second unit. Add in KCP and Cook and the second into is legit.

This lineup is more of Davis wanting to stay at PF.

So basically the only thing that can save the Mavs horrid performance in free agency is hoping they can get OKC closer to the salary cap by absorbing Gallinari for Courtney Lewis and then also hoping Gallo can stay healthy enough to either help them get to the playoffs or be somebody wants to add at the trade dead line.

frick me this is going on 8 years of breaking up a title team to get FAs only to end up with.... overpaying an injury recovering Chandler Parons, overpaying and injury recovering Wes Matthews, overpaying and hoping Harrison Barnes develops into an all star, and having to trade two first rounders to draft Luka b/c they refused to properly tank 2 seasons ago.

With Rondo, Green, and McGee starting the Lakers can focus on more of a defensive presence.

Now it is up to Vogel to maximize what he has.

Bro it's summertime in the NBA. Mavs striking out in FA is tradition.

He thinks Rondo is good at defense.

Vogel isn't a bad coach. It will be interesting to see what he does with this team. People keep acting like LeBron is going to fall off the face of the Earth. The dude puts time and money in on his body. If AD embraces that change and uses those resources, Lakers are going to be nasty.

This year is the worst of them all b/c they didn't even fricking try to get anyone even though they had $30m in cap space. They were having dinner with Porzingis when everyone else was being signed b/c they thought they'd be able to sit back and pick up guys on team friendly deals. That's inexcusable to me.

Hope we can snag Marcus Morris as well.

eta: Okay nevermind on him, just saw he's not going to the Lakers.

Last year Boom predicted Ariza returning to Rox and then got boomed 7 minutes later

This year he predicted Morris on da way to lakeshow and got boomed 3 minutes later.

He's on a list now.

Damn, nice pick up by the Spurs.

With Dejounte Murray returning this year the Spurs could be an interesting team. The west is going to be nuts.
