What is lost has already been detailed, I can't help that you're choosing to ignore facts that have been presented to you. And this isn't about 2 days, you keep saying that to downplay the situation and act like it's not a big deal. This isn't about waiting out the weekend. This is about will the multiple teams (and players) involved ask the commissioner to enforce the rules. If they ask him to enforce the rules, he will have to decide whether he will enforce them or not, or see if he can't negotiate a compromise with the parties involved.
I doubt commissioner Silver trying to pretend like it's the weekend and it's not a big deal will sway teams that would petition him. I at least bothered to come up with a plausible argument as to how the commissioner might convince them to let the Lakers slide, because they do send everyone a nice check each year.
