Also, since the Warriors rescinded Quinn Cook's qual, it seems that they aren't gonna be trading D-Lo anytime soon unless they re-sign Quinn in free agency.

I don't think anyone will be surprised to see Boogie is playing in LA if Kawhi goes back to Toronto.
Regardless, I'd be shocked if someone gives him anything more than a 1yr. Even though his quad was bothering him, he looked that bad. He'll have to prove he can play at even 80% of what he was

They were never gonna keep Cook most likely.
And they can’t trade DLo until December 15th at the earliest.
I don’t think he would get traded until after next season at the earliest.

Only reason I thought they would keep Cook was because of all the rumblings about Shaun Livingston retiring in the offseason. That hasn't happened yet and may not happen at all (even though he has become a shell of his former self in the past 2 years), so I'll be curious to see what they do.

quote:This makes the most sense, because they are hard-capped this season anyway. I think they'll want to see how he fits next to Curry. If it works, they'll keep him, if it doesn't, they'll try to trade him next offseason.

quote:I didn't count that month.
Sure. But he only played in 2 games in the last month
quote:Does Wiggins not play in these short February months?
and there were only 9 games in the month before that (February; short month plus all star break).
quote:Correct, which is why I didn't use it.
So using a 2 game sample for an entire month is disingenuous
quote:No, it's 3 month, December through February.
It’s more like he shot over 50% for 2 months.
quote:Actually, you were arguing that you saw Wiggins have "multiple stretches" like Ingram's 3 straight months of great ball, and I'd be interested to know which multiple 3 month spans Wiggins played as well as Ingram did late last season?
I’m just arguing that he wasn’t good last year

Given how things have gone, I don’t think Cook signs for the league minimum. Maybe for the lakers since he’ll be basically their only guard but I think he will get some strong offers from people that still have space and he’s made table scraps so far in his career

Agreed. Cook could get some serious short term money.
