I think he's saying that Vegas doesn't *always* have it before everyone else.
Exactly. And I’m sure most of their resources go to things like setting lines and odds for games, which is why the VIG is much lower since they are much more confident in the odds plus that’s where there is much more money at play.

I doubt they’re spending a ton of time and resources for prop bets like this and trying to get insider information from players who are free agents once every few years.

I expected Looney to get more. Like at least what Bryant got from the Wizards

I think almost every signing I’ve seen posted in this thread has you saying this same exact thing after each one

Rockets favored late in the game. Into the post season. It was after this that lebron got word that he wasn’t welcomed. From there his choice was LA.

Because it’s fricking true.

But I’m slightly intrigued to see what a team of three all nba players and the rest G leaguers can do

Fwiw, the Bleacher Report graphic said no action, which would imply it came down.

And how is Colangelos wife on a burner account tweeting going to change odds?
It was insider info that they didn’t have apparently and didn’t even know it was out there. If they had known, I’m sure it would have impacted their odds for things.

My whole point is that some random twitter account was tweeting insider info for years, and Vegas, and the WOJs of the world didn’t know. They only have insider info if they’re insiders have it and/or give it to them. And they’re likely not the only potential insiders out there.
