Lol. True. But is just making the playoffs satisfying enough?

I think they had to do it. Just glad the Pels lucked into possibly a better way.

Interesting to see how this thread compares to last year considering I think this year is more interesting. Think we had over 300 pages iirc

I agree. Didn’t realize it got that high in the final year

Portland is basically going all in on the next 2-3 years.

Kawhi’s camp has not been shy about bringing up concerns re: Vogel in backchannel discussions with the Lakers, specifically load management.
A seamless continuation of last year’s successful load management in Toronto remains at the very top of Kawhi’s list...

Due diligence on Vogel’s style via good friend Jonathan Simmons has only heightened those concerns. Lakers FO has strongly backed Vogel, making it clear he’s their guy while assuring Kawhi he will retain a direct channel of communication to the FO on the issue. #lakers #nba

According to sources, the current roadblock regarding Kawhi to the Lakers is the FO not all being on the same page, Rob Pelinkia is going to have to deliver his best sales pitch during the meeting. Raptors have the advantage over the lakers in this area, Lakers still confident

Meh say he is bad that last season, Portland would have a decade plus of incredible Dame. Also, the cap will be more than $109m by then. If it’s around 35% of the cap, it won’t be a big deal imo.

To dame

Knicks actually have about $69 million in cap space.

They will compete a lot better than letting him walk and attracting zero other free agents

Dame is better at what he does, but that contract is the Matt Stafford argument all over again.
