I just don't know if you can find another draymond. Someone who can play elite defense like he can who can shoot at what? Over 37% from behind the arc at his size? Who also knows what to do with the ball...i just think that's more difficult to find

They gonna save time and just give Barnes' ring to Derek Fisher?

Yeah. Durant just didn't like a business like atmosphere, he prefers GS style of showing up and launching half court shots for a couple hours then going home.

His mom played a huge part in it too, she loves to shop and spend money and what better place to do that than California. People always act like she's a saint because of the MVP speech, but OKC people dreaded her coming to games because she's apparently very obnoxious to be around.

It returns in the blink of an eye, though.

meh. Green took a step backwards this year. And every year, it's going to be more and more difficult to get away with all the stupid crap he does (yelling at refs, throwing his arms like a wild man, holding guys, punching guys, kicking guys, etc.).

The reality is that Green cost your team a championship last year, and decreased as a basketball player this year. Thompson did neither.

Green is gonna run away with defensive player of the year this year. He didn't take a step back.

Kinda glad for now. I could probably use a bit of a break from sports, but of course I'll find myself watching the CWS.

If I'm in negotiations, Klay is a type of guy who can fit any system while Green benefits more from being in this system. He's in the perfect situation, nobody will double him and he has high IQ/skill to know where to pass to the open man.

Green makes the defense what it is, able to be so versatile all because of Draymond. He's way more valuable than Klay IMO.

green is unique in that he can defend 1-5, but he cannot shut down a single player all game.

Draymond shot >37% one time, last year. Career 33.4%, this year 30.8%.

Finding a Draymond is more difficult, I agree. But finding a 3&D SG of Klay's caliber is difficult too.

The hotter commodity would be Klay on the open market and you don't have to worry about a loose cannon going off with him. Green is the "emotional" glue for the GSW, but he could very well be the lance stephenson on any other team (hell he was that last year in his half-time F'bomb tirades when things fell apart)

Your right. No step back. Just less minutes, points, rebounds, and assists and a lower field goal %, lower 3 point %. But, he was just as good.
