I like Pop and respect the hell out of him but I just can't even express how much respect I've lost for him from tonight and last years finals.
Don't know about all that but Yea Spo has probably outcoached him these last 9 games.

Spurs should have won tonight, no doubt about it. Their offense just went dry as frick for the last several minutes of the game.

The main thing is they pretty much quit attacking the rim other than a few exceptions.

But I knew those missed free throws would be huge.

Those 4 points right there would have put the spurs up by 6. 4 huge misses in a row by parker and duncan.

Well yeah, they panicked and stopped pushing the ball inside to Duncan in the last 5 minutes.

They were in the bonus for the final 6 minutes of the game, and after those 4 straight missed FTs, I don't think they went back to the line.

The Tony's.

Still shaping up as a great series, wouldn't surprise me at all if it goes 7 again.

SA didn't get enough outside of Duncan, Parker and Ginobili tonight. Miami can get away with the vast majority of their production coming from three guys because of how great Lebron is, but the Spurs are better when they have 5-6 guys all scoring about the same. The played pretty well all things considered. Even rebound margin, 26 assists to only 11 turnovers, but they missed eight free throws and didn't move the ball well enough throughout the game.

Leonard is killing them. He's such an important player and isn't showing up.

I think we've pretty much seen Miami's ceiling in this series, but not San Antonio's. They moved the ball well in game 1 but were careless and sloppy. They took care of the ball tonight but didn't move it/shoot it well enough. I thought if Miami got one of the first two that they'd win the series, but SA has looked like the better team. I expect a split in Miami.

Mostly because they were still making outside shots.

I do too. The Spurs aren't exactly gonna fold up and close shop like the Pacers did.

And I agree with you: I think San Antonio has looked like the better team through 2 games.

Fact no one has mentioned despite the Spurs missing 4 FTs: Wade's flop gave the Heat 2 free points.

Expect the NBA to fine him tomorrow.

That was probably the only missed call all game.
