I think youre right about the free throws being the last ones. The Heat have the best half court D in the league by far so there are only a few options; jump shots, fast breaks, or taking it to the hoop and Miami just wasn't giving much room in the lane but I think the Spurs should have set up some screens for Parker or Leonard.

Even if they had though that Heat D was nasty and the jumpers just weren't falling anymore. I'm ready for game 3. :BartScott:

Great performance by the GOAT. Heatles in 6

Lebron had a great game on both ends of the floor, but tonight's performance from the Heat isn't sustainable IMO. They can't rely this heavily on Lebron and expect that kind of game from Lewis all series. They need Wade and Chalmers to pick it up if they want to win it all.

Don't worry. When it gets to Miami Tuesday, you will see the role players stepping up, shooting with confidence, etc.

LeBron had to carry the load tonight. But trust me, the other guys will be more comfortable and looking for their shot in front of the home crowd.

nor is/was the Spurs perfect shooting in the 4th quarter of Game 1…

Miami didn't even play at their best tonight… they started off sluggish, turned the ball over a lot, and had some bad calls not go their way, but they still were in the game from the latter part of the 1st to the end….

if anything, they can only get better, especially with the series now going back to Miami...

You havent seen Miami's ceiling at all. Telling you, when they get in front of the home crowd with some home crowd energy, you will see it. The role players will be comfortable and Miami will runmore and play even more aggressive D at home.

Will the crowd leave the arena when the spurs go up by eleven then try to come back in?

People love overreacting after every single game.
This series is still going 6 or 7 and the split in SA was the most likely outcome before the series started.

Besides the AC going out, everything is pretty much going as expected....and I'm not talking about goldenugget's script

I haven't changed my tune. I said heat in 6 right after game 1 ended.

Lebron can carry them on the road. Role players play better at home. Cole will be huge next game.

Spurs should have won tonight, no doubt about it.

That's what they all say. Heat should have won game 1 if the AC was working but it wasn't.

Definitely agree, but in a 7 game series (where you only get 3 games at home), winning AT San Antonio is huge.

No one said this

They did lead the NBA at 40%, so it's not like the Sixers are out there draining 48%.

The Spurs can beat you with more guys which is why they won the most games in the league. There's a greater chance to get an unexpected performance from a role player because they play more guys. They didn't shoot the ball well tonight, Miami got a huge game from Lebron, and it was still a game that could have gone either way. They should feel good about how they've matched up so far
