The issue with putting him on Steph or Klay is that he will be chasing them through screens all game. Doing that plus having to carry such a large load offensively would be really difficult.

I mean it really can't get much better with the style they are playing

I think LBJ needs to guard Klay Thompson. Cavs have got to slow him down.

My bad man, I thought I was replying to RTR America who said the Cavs offense can't get any better. Carry on.

I don't want him on him for 4 quarters but they need to pick some spots where he does guard Klay. He certainly needs to guard him down the stretch. They really only run Klay off pin downs anyway. He generally doesn't come off a ton of single doubles.

They have to get more off the ball player movement. I watched both Shumpert & Smith for large portions of the game, stand around the perimeter watching Lebron go to work. That's garbage. They should be trying to get open because as a player, you know that Lebron will find you if get open. Both of them are playing with no energy or passion on the offensive end. They look like dried up dog shite.

They shot 32%....it really can get much better

Yep. They are just basically all waiting to see what LeBron is going to do.

Speaking of looking like dried up dog shite, Draymond Green has been playing with his head up his arse too. Stupid fouls & turnovers. It's been highly entertaining but extremely sloppy series so far for both teams.

Warriors' ball movement is almost as bad as Cleveland's.
The difference is that Cleveland can do that and somewhat get away with it. Golden State was terrible tonight. I guess they can take some solace in the fact that the game still went to overtime.

The Warriors ball movement hasn't been great in either game so far. No where even close to how good it has been all season long. Cavs hanging in playing 1980s iso basketball. This series so far has been a definite head scratcher.

quote:Yeah. According to JA Adande, the Warriors average 300 passes per game; they only had 200 last night, including overtime.

@talkhoops: Warriors not named Klay Thompson were 5-of-25 on uncontested shots in Game 2.

Did Shumpert not keep them in game 1 with his 3's?
Jesus Christ, are you serious? He went 2-6 with 6 points. An NBA starting shooting guard. And he scored 6 points on 6 shots. In 34 minutes.

I said Smith derped up on D, maybe you should read.
I just read that you asked somebody if Shumpert kept a team in the game when he finished with 6 points in 34 minutes. That was really stupid.

The adults are talking in here, go back to the MSB where you can troll.
What adult conversation are you contributing to? Heralding an NBA shooting guard for his incredible performance where he scored 6 points in 34 minutes to save Lebron's arse?
quote:
I didn't say him and JR Smith were killing it, I just said I didn't think they were "dreadful". Those 2 players, not the Cavs as you're talking.
JR smith scored 9 points on 13 shots. Shumpert scored 6 on 6. They combined for 15 points on 19 shots. In 68 minutes. Receiving NBA salaries. What counts as dreadful for you?

Only three Cavs scored in the second half/OT of game 1. LeBron, Kyrie and Mozgov

I just seriously doubt that continues.

That's incredible, if true.

Another crazy stat:
Only 4 teams all year shot 32% or less from the field and won the game. Cavs were the 5th last night. In the NBA Finals.
