Who really took the bait though? You just couldn’t resist posting a snarky comment after seeing that Trump gif. I like to call out TDS when I see it.

This really is curious. I'm not really sure how that is possible with so many people sitting at home this year. Even with people boycotting for whatever reason it should have gone up

Cable is the first thing to get when money gets tight.

People cut cable and try to reduce their cellphone bill when things get tight.

Me personally, watching sports on tv with venues without fans is really boring.

Oh, frick YES. The NBA and all of its fans can pull up to an oversized, gaudy table, tie a bib around their neck, and use fine “china” to serve themselves 18-inch-long greasy gold bricks with a fork and knife. Then wash it all down with tart, cloudy urine from the players who don’t drink enough water and have the most pungent, offensive body odor imaginable.

People are realizing how little sports mean overall. I was a sports junkie, I love all sports, but this year I’ve watched less than ever. I watch the saints / LSU and I’ll watch the pels, but otherwise I just don’t care anymore. I’ll put it on as background noise when I’m outside on the patio on Sunday but that’s about it. I’m not saying I’m the norm, but it has kinda caught me off guard how little I care.

I agree with all of this. The SJW stuff was the jump off point for me (not COVID). After turning off the TV, I realized I just didn’t miss it much at all. Maybe it is just me, but that is my experience.

Goes on and on on the Poliboard how the NBA's virtue signaling will hurt ratings....

Then comes onto the MSB to make a post doing the exact same thing that they were screaming about the NBA doing.

Can't make this shite up. These tards coming over from the Poliboard just to do their own virtue signaling is really starting to irk me, and its getting old. The hypocrisy is mind-numbing.

These tards need to stay in their lane.

I mean every sports viewership is down compared to last year.

In the US - yes. However, other parts of the world (also experiencing COVID) have not seen the decline (or at least not nearly to the degree) that we have with our sports.

The premiere league (yeah I know...soccer board) saw their ratings rebound significantly when they distanced themselves from BLM and their Marxist agenda. In short, a knee is taken in support of the mantra “No room for racism.” This seems to have been well received by the masses and ratings seem to support that approval.

In short, American sports alienated a large swath of fans (including golf btw) and the ratings seem to reflect that.

We just had the finals what feels like a month ago. Longer I know, but still.

No one gives a shirt about regular season NBA bball. They need to shorten the season yesterday so you don’t have divas sitting out and the games actually mean something.

why would i watch these teams on christmas when i watched them 2 days before (when i didnt have shite going on) and will watch them 15 more times each?

no, im not saying the solution is to put the shitty games/teams on. i dont really know what the solution is, but ive never truly understood the nba on christmas hype in the first place. i watch a ton of nba, so this has nothing to do with that.

So the people who actually play the sports bring politics into the game and your response is to blame the fans for being political?

The NBA only cares about low iq urban folks now, with the priority going to unsuccessful black folks.

Don't believe me? Look at the commercials that come on during each sport's television events. Tells you almost everything you need to know about their target audience.
