Actually her Japanese family disowned her mom when they found out she was with a Haitian guy. They later reconciled with them. (I actually read a little about her background because I was curious)

But please tell me more about how outraged I am. Sorry you can’t have a nuanced conversation about it.

Oh go frick yourself. You’re in here crying because she won’t identify as American and take it as some personal insult. You’re a fricking child.

She isn’t the first US based athlete to play for another country.

You’re making a mountain out of a shite smeared ant hill.

I don't think this is true. She's merely a Japanese citizen because Japan doesn't allow dual citizenship after 22 years of age and she had a falling out with US tennis officials. She lives in Beverly Hills. They try to play up her Japanese heritage, but she moved to the US when she was 3 and has been living here ever since. She doesn't speak Japanese, but seems to understand it when spoken to her mostly.

She says this

quote:

“MY DAD THOUGHT THAT SINCE I GREW UP AROUND MY MOM AND I HAVE A LOT OF JAPANESE RELATIVES… I DON’T KNOW… I DON’T NECESSARILY FEEL LIKE I’M AMERICAN. AND I WOULDN’T KNOW WHAT THAT FEELS LIKE.”

All of this shite is just a product of our culture where we fetishize anything "non-white" or anti-American. Despite her spending 20 of her 23 years between NY, Florida, and California, she says these things.

Ultimately I think it's because US tennis ignored her in her developmental years and her father held resentment over that.

Osaka is not a smart individual. Low IQ without the ability to think for herself.

She can identify as a Japanese athlete for marketing purposes as long as she pays her income taxes to Uncle Sam.

This is the right answer... US Tennis still doesn’t respect the “Mr. Williams way”(Serena’s Dad) ... plus them not thinking she was good enough made her father say frick them

They need to take notes on that and give them to a few US men players

I have a hard time grappling with whether the Woke have just never been told the truth about Breonna Taylor, or whether they are fully aware and it just doesn't matter.

Either way, lumping in Breonna Taylor with others as some kind of injustice is the Wokest. shite. Ever.

She has some serious plumping potential.

Right now, she is strong though

Serena is 39, 40 in September. Amazing she's still playing at the level she is. She has nothing to prove. Miss Osaka is a good young player but doesn't really hold a candle to Serena. Probably never will, it's a high bar.

She is not low IQ, at least tennis IQ. You cannot play tennis like that with a low IQ. She is VERY STOIC though and never seems happy. She cried at her first grand slam victory and basically apologized to Serena for beating "the new mother."
