The problem is you're not using any actual criteria.
This entire exercise is a subjective weighing. Trying to impose "criteria" on it like it could be objectively proven is ridiculous. Using the "emotional" internet guy thing as code for "subjective" is a distraction. You should be better than that.

Russell wins 11 but can't be better than MJ because MJ is
Someone can certainly make an argument for Russell over Jordan and it would be legit. Are you making that point?

You continue to lie about what I posted. It’s getting pathetic

Let’s take you and slows comparative logic and apply it universally because it doesn’t strictly apply to basketball. Matt Stafford and Phillip Rivers are better QBs than John Elway and Joe Montana. That’s the same argument you’re making here.
If Stafford/Rivers compared to Montana isn't on the level of Lebron vs Kobe, then you just admitted that was a dumb post that made no sense.
If you think they are on the same level, then...well yea, that's laughable too.

So both of you have devolved into lying and made up proclamations. Can’t say I’m surprised though.

The problem is you think who is better/properly rated is an exercise in something other than subjective weighing. Then everyone shows up here using statistics like a drunk uses a lamp post and you talk about "actual criteria."

Instead, the only thing I've seen is Kobe had 5 titles, so he's better than Lebron. But Russell is not better than MJ because rings don't always matter.
Your main premise would be spot on if their argument didn't go exactly as I just mentioned in the paragraph above.

Or that the early 00s Western Conference isn’t one of most lopsided conference balances in league history?
You do realize the 2016 West had a 67-win team in addition to the Warriors, right?
And TWO more 50-win teams.
2016 West was STACKED

Shaq kills that squad.
Shaq would be guarding Steph most of that series. Explain to me how the Lakers fix that?

He lost to Duncan again, and without Ray Allen a 3rd time.
Duncan is top 5 ever and yes over LeBron James.
So your argument is that in 2014, Tim Duncan was a better player than Lebron?
So you would take the guy averaging 15/10 over the guy averaging 28/8?

Barkley lost to Jordan with is basically a title in 2023, so Barkley is way ahead of Lebron b/c he's a winner (via losing)
Speaking of gassing yourselves out.

Everything I said is true. I nuked your inability to make a rational, coherent argument and then you quit.
You do you.
Or come up with some set criteria for the conversation.

Thanks for proving again that you don’t even believe the very logic you’re using in this discussion.

Sure, but they won't declare what their subjective weighing even is. That's the problem with their "arguments".
They have a moving target based on emotions.

Quoting me by leaving out the bulk of the post and inserting false statements? That’s how you quote somebody?

Look at this strawman
You make an illogical attempt at a point, when people laugh, you build a straw man and then project others are being illogical
Explain the "very logic" you cited above as it pertains to your examples.

You said he's not as accomplished, "especially in championships" so what other way would be implied other than he's not as accomplished in facets outside of championships
This isn't a big deal but I think it is an obvious point.
The Wilt comparison was the frame. Comparing Wilt and LeBron is far from a slight to either player when many people considered Wilt the GOAT (at least pre Kareem).
Most people however are familiar with the criticisms of Wilt. He put up unbelievable numbers for a very long time. Arguably the case for Wilt was even stronger in terms of regular season and all time accomplishments.
The perception Wilt was tarred with was his ability to dominate so impressively was not matched by his ability to do the same when the opportunity to win a championship was on the line. This lead to the conventional criticism that Wilt cared more about individual statistics than team accomplishments.
If you read my summary of the criticism of Wilt and understand it then you understand the nature of the analogous criticism of LeBron. By analogy an impartial reader would assume I think Jokic can only ascend the all time great list if he ends up with more championship wins than Harden.

Again making a false proclamation and using a double standard. You’ve abandoned your argument in favor of personal attacks ever since your argument was held up to a mirror. Again you don’t even believe it
