Most devastated you've been at a sporting event?

We've all seen the picture or video of Morrison sobbing/crying. So what was yours?
Mine was on August 31, 1996. This was a group of Seniors that were Fr when I graduated and then got the EMC job. We lead oSu by 7 had 4th and 15 and gave up a 53 yd fade then gave up tying TD with 30 seconds left. In OT we score as our WR hits the ground Backjudge calls him out thinking the green was out of bounds. We miss a FG (which went over the upright) give up a TD on a jerk route the DB fell down (same on who gave up the fade)
First OT game officially as OT rule was put in that year.
We got Big XII'ed and kept us out of playoffs as we never climbed in the polls after that game.
My other one is at Arch Madness on a wrong way wrong handed turn around line drive. I get sick thinking of that one to this day. I've posted video before.

If a field goal goes over the upright it is no good

That was the explanation they gave us, it was good though. They knew it and the crowd knew it by reaction.

So you said it was over the upright, then you say it wasn't, plus the back judge thought the green field was out of bounds ???

For some reason it's LSU losing to AU 31-28 in 1997. It really had me bummed for a couple if days.
Actually, it has to be the Cubs losing in 2003. I used to watch a lot of game a and follow the Cubs pretty well for a casual fan. Now I couldn't tell you the manager. I just lost it all right then.

The FG was good, it was called over the upright as reason no good.
At the time oSu had Cowboys in orange a yard of green and then the end line.
Cannon's foot hits green then he hits white with other. The guy blew the call, which happens.
They said he came down with first foot out, which clearly wasn't the case.
We were 1-AA and they expected us to get blasted like we had 2/3 years before.

Browns-Saints 1999
the Saints weren't that good back then so there wasn't much disappointment.
just ultimate despair.
the Browns scored on some fluke hail mary on the last play of the game to win it after the Saints had led the whole game. I told my stepdad on the way home that I wasn't sure if I ever wanted to go to another game.

As a Georgia, Falcons and Braves fan, this is a long, long list of disappointments.
2012 SECCG
2012 NFCCG collapse
2013 Harvey-Clemons/Matthews herp derping the Hail Mary vs Auburn
I could go on for awhile.
In person, the 2008 no show against Alabama was awful.

Stockton's series winning shot in the '97 Western Conference Finals that effectively ended the Olajuwon prime-era contention for championships by the Rockets.

Jarrett Lee's 4th pick in the 2008 LSU/Bama game.
A close second was Flynn's OT pick in the 2007 Arkansas game.

Eagles vs Bucs 2002 last game in the Vet. I was 12 and I remember McNabb throwing that last pick and Tiki Barber running it back for a TD.
Bad times

09 SECCG, even if it was over before the fourth quarter.

No one gave us a chance either.

I think that's also when Sapp got arrested on the runway as soon as our plane landed there for not paying child support.

2003, Tiger Stadium, opponent Gators.
I made my first trip back to Death Valley since I was a student in '65. To say I got shite faced after the game would be an under statement.
