Had to be. Only way you were getting Stanton there. Hell of a throw.

He was still 4 foot off the ground there. I mean give the catcher an easier target

Gonna be something when the dream World Series matchup for the MLB and Fox ends up being a 4 game sweep.

It was a perfect throw, but if that runner had even tried to sprint he would have likely made it with room to spare.

Kinda feels like the Yankees are hanging around too long right now. This game could be 6-0 right now. The Dodgers need to put them away and do it soon.

Roberts should've let edman swing away

Also, how can Stanton be such a physical specimen and be that painfully slow

I’d still give him the 5th to finish off the bottom of their lineup. I want him eating up as many outs as possible to help save arms for tomorrow.

he finishes the lineup then gets taken out next time he sees torres

Agreed. Shohei hasn’t had a good series and Edman has. Let him swing and see what happens.

or, Edman could've bunted it anywhere except to the pitcher or directly in front of home plate. He puts that down either line 8 feet and he is probably safe at first along with an easy run.

Is he really slow? Ohtani looks slow when he is running because he is so big. Could be the same for Stanton.

frick it, 76 pitches, I say keep him in until he yields a base runner. Save the bullpen as much as possible.

Yea, but he was laboring a bit there and the top of the order is up next inning. But I would probably agree with you

Bull crap. Stanton looks like has lead in his shoes.
