Angels don't really have much to sell outside of Calhoun it seems.
Padres are sellers but they have high price on Yates so I could see them keeping him.they expect a better offer than what they got for Hand.

Pirates should be sellers and have pieces along with Reds but I think the Reds stand pat tbh

Yeah it really seems like it’s shaping up that way where a lot of losing teams don’t sell which could make things very boring

Probably means some crazy shite will end up happening

Going to be more hype/rumors than action... MadBum, Thor, Wheeler, Ray, Greinke, Stroman, would make it interesting

The Cardinals have the best bullpen in the NL but they'll add another reliever and call it a day if I had to guess.

Gallegos for Voit was such a great trade for both sides, he's been our best reliever and a top one in the game this year. 2.31 era 0.77 whip 67K 8BB in 46.2IP.

Cards need to quit giving up OF's who flourish

Like who?

We still have too many OF prospects near MLB ready level.

Pham, Girchuck...... Although Girchuck is mainly his power since he sucks at everything else, Pham was an All-Star.

Neither of those guys would have spots on our roster today.

Phan would be more productive than what you've gotten from Martinez and Bader. Martinez
should not be in the OF to begin with.

O'Neill has looked good so far but so did Bader last year so you need to take a wait and see approach. Fowler has had a nice bounce back season but still and Ozuna just hasn't performed up to expectations

Ozuna still has 20 homeruns. Fowler and Martinez and O'Neill are much better than Grichuk.

Pham is okay but he's 31 and .269 15HR is whatever.

Bader plays because of the gold glove defense.

Everyone is hitting home runs right now though

Based isn't doing much of anything else, Martinez should be a DH only as he offers nothing on the defensive end

I know, but that's more than Grichuk or Pham. Hell Grichuk has a 0.4 WAR.

Pham was just such a late bloomer at age 30 it made him easy to move with multiple young guys.

get the frick out of here

Pham would start over fowler, bader, martinez, etc He would be the starting CF.

And they gave up Mercado, who would also start over those 3 turds.

Ownership and Mo'ron don't like players who talk out.

Lol what? None of that made any sense.

Pham was too old to keep blocking young high end prospects for a 31 year old to hit .269 with a little pop. He's not even 1 war better than Fowler this year.

And Oscar Mercado lost to Tyler O'Neill. And still would right now.

LOL

I found one of the fans who has his mouth on Mo'rons nuts. Disillusion to the core, probably has a BFIB t-shirt he wears around town.

Cubs are kicking the tires on Jarrod Dyson and Eric Sogard. If I had to speculate, I would say at this time that Detroit probably wanted too much for Castellanos combined with the fact that he is still owed 3.75 million.

According to an AL executive, the asking prices on relievers - rentals, in particular - were "still ridiculously high" as of this weekend. Belief around the industry is that there will be a flurry of late moves closer to the July 31 deadline.

This seems to be the consensus right now. I don't know what Detroit thinks they are going to get for a rental who's owed that much money.
