MLB catering to the Braves, what a joke

At least they aren’t making you play a crucial series at a “neutral site” like Philadelphia or something because of a hurricane cause that’s happened before

I mean skimming though then Braves thread it seems like that’s what they wished would happen

It’s such a shitty situation cause playing a double header Monday just kills your pitching going into the wild card series. But on the other side, if they played a double header in Miami or somewhere like that today and the Braves lost, they’d feel like they got fricked by missing out on playing those games in Atlanta where they have a good history facing the Mets

Yeah Miami would be an actual neutral site. One of the problems with the Ike thing was Milwaukee was not by any means a neutral site

There’s no good solution to the situation

I believe the Braves and NYM both are fine with letting Arizona eliminate themselves against the Padres -

Snakes coverage said before AZ's win last night over SF if AZ dropped 3 of their last 4 then a Monday DH in Atlanta wouldn't have to be played - AZ would be math'd out of postseason having no tiebreakers over Atlanta or NYM -

Gallen got an 8-2 win so if AZ is gonna beat SD it will be without him pitching this weekend -

Massive sweep for Kansas City after losing 7 games in a row down the stretch. Currently hold the wild card over Detroit still, but DET plays the White Sox to close the season while the Royals play the Braves. At this point, just hoping KC can outlast Minnesota for the final spot.

ETA: Mariners were eliminated today with Kansas City and Detroit both winning. It's all down to KC, DET, and MN for the last two spots (thanks White Sox!)

Royals fans: I admittedly haven’t researched. Do you own the tiebreaker over the Twins? If so, you clinch if the Marlins, of all teams, beat the Twins. 3-0 right now with the bases still loaded.

Royals do NOT own the tiebreaker on the Twins

If there is a three-way tie, the Tigers would be the odd team out.

Minnesota is 7-6 vs KC, 7-6 vs. Detroit (14-12)
KC is 7-6 vs Detroit, and 6-7 vs Minnesota (13-13)
Detroit is 6-7 vs both teams (12-14)

Mariners are eliminated.

Playoff baseball going on in LA. Joe Musgrove dealing all night but Fresh Prince walks up there and smacks the shite out of that ball. 2-2 in the 7th.

Dodgers score 5 in the 7th but Freddie rolls an ankle trying to avoid a tag. 5-3 top of the 8th.

Pretty sure they’d still need to play for seeding purposes, right?
