Jon Lester had a 5.07 ERA in his last 15 games over 87 innings coming into today where he gave up 6 earned, not good

Nats win. That was fun to watch. Wrigley day games are very aesthetically pleasing.

I wonder how the Hell the Cubs playoff chances are 80% and the Cards are 50% when they have the same record? (per ESPN)

The Cards play only NL teams not named Dodgers or Braves the rest of the way, so it sure as Hell isn't the schedule.

The Cubs also have away games left so they won't win more than 35% of those.

Ozuna with another bomb, 2 run variety. Nice to have him back and healthy behind Goldy.

With Fowler and Wong at 1 and 2 we are consistently able to get at least one of them on most of the time ahead of those guys and that is changing everything.

nice to get all that figured out finally

Now just stick to playing OUTfielders in the OUTfield and we may be good to go.

Statistically Jack Flaherty has been the best pitcher in baseball since the ASB and that is continuing tonight.

9 K's through 5 shutout 1 hit innings so far.
