Tough loss for the Rangers but a great game. There were a bunch of good games this evening.

If anyone hasn't checked out MLB Big Inning on MLB.tv - it is like NFL Redzone for baseball. Worth every penny imo.

I was at Coors Field tonight, sweet ballpark.

Lots of dingers and good defensive plays, and met a couple of dudes and played $10 every half inning on mound ball...only downside is we got smoked there.

Why would he agree to this?

Yankees star Aaron Judge announced his deal to sign with the Jordan Brand on Friday. And the announcement came with Judge recreating an iconic picture that Michael Jordan made famous 25 years ago.

Judge sat down with his hand to his face, rocking a Jordan brand ring on his finger. The photo was meant to recreate Jordan’s “6 Rings” portrait that was taken after MJ won his sixth and final championship in 1998.

Nats have been way better than I thought they would this season

Angels are going to regret not trading Ohtani when they see how quick the Nats rebuild will be thanks to trading Soto

Urias was a very low risk high reward type of acquisition at the deadline and he’s been fantastic so far.

He was a major prospect once upon a time and has been productive in the past. It feels like Bloom is good at making these around the edges type of moves but the bigger ones haven’t necessarily been great overall with a few exceptions (Yoshida namely). Some of it is ownership related for sure

His major deals have been a disaster for the most part. The Mookie deal most notably. I do think he’s limited in his options because of ownership. The Redsox will be below the luxury tax this off-season and if they don’t spend, John Henry needs to sell the team.

I say that as Connor Wong who the Redsox got as part of the Mookie deal hits a two run bomb against the Yankees

I don’t think their rebuild is going to take several years. They finally have a good farm system. I think the expectation is Crew, James Wood, and maybe Brady House being called up next system. Add them with Abrams, Ruiz, Gray, Gore, and Thomas and they have a solid core to build around.

Nats will spend as well and are for sale. Especially once Corbin/Strasburg are gone.

Considering how many of their stars left in FA I could see a new ownership group locking up Crews and/or Wood to a mega deal pretty quickly if they perform
