Yeah, Riley was robbed. I have no qualms saying it. He should be in. If you don't agree, well, we'll revisit at the end of the season when he's flirting w/40 bombs, hitting close to .300 w/a upper .800's OPS and has 110-115 RBI's and is in the thick of the MVP race.
Players aren't voted into the all star game because of where you think their numbers will end up at the end of the season though.

Reds are gonna choke, aren’t they? Dude threw a meatball to Judge.

Juan Soto joins Mike Trout as the only active players to record 75 hits and 75 walks in a season before the All-Star Break (Trout did it in 2018 & 2019).
Soto is the 3rd player to do this before turning 24 years old, along with Adam Dunn in 2002 and Rickey Henderson in 1982.

Hoffman is a frickin gas can. He has a career 6+ ERA; how does he have a job in MLB? Is he the best that we can do?? Sucks for Castillo. Good pitching goes a long way.

Boston is swept in a four game series by the Rays.
Headed to the Bronx.

The Rays have a ton of people on the IL still. I’m not familiar with their timetables or anything but if they can nab a wild card they could surprise someone.

I mean they were expected to compete in the AL East, they've been a good team for several years now

Oh for sure, they just might be a different team come playoff time and they are already good

Well, we won the Yankees series, but not without some craziness. Reds have won 7 of 8. Our bullpen is trash; luckily, Yankees were slightly worse. All three games came down to the ninth or tenth inning.

Rays have totaled 1,141 days on the IL this year, most in AL and 3rd in the majors behind the Reds (1,291) and Cubs (1,156). The 15 players on the injured list produced a combined 22.3 WAR for the Rays last season, per FanGraphs: 44.2 pct. of their team total.

Yankees have a losing series record against 2 teams so far this year
The Reds 1-2
The Astros 2-3
The Reds 1-2
The Astros 2-3

Red Sox are now 11-24 against the AL East. Only three teams in MLB have more losses against their own division — the Nationals (34), Pirates (27) and Diamondbacks (25).
41 of Red Sox' remaining 72 games are against the division:
12 vs. NYY
11 vs. BAL
9 vs. TOR
9 vs. TB

Red Sox play Yankees tough so that's a good sign

Yankees should not let Castillo leave NY

Well look who has moved to the top of the MLB.com hitters' rankings:
Riley #1 in MLB.com hitters' rankings....
And he just hit his 8th HR in 16 games. .912 OPS and a 147 OPS+. Even the media is starting to notice. They kinda have no choice. You can't ignore those #'s.
To reiterate, he's gonna be in the thick of the MVP race.

Top 3 for sure bruh

The Reds just ran themselves out of a scoring chance.

Aaron Judge would have a 1.100 OPS with robot umpires
