Didn't see anyone discussing the All-Star selections, Cease not making it over Cole and France being snubbed were there two biggest ones I saw. Sure Hog dude is made about his boy Edman not making it either and Jazz being a starter.

Looks like it.

Passan: Atlanta and Kansas City are finalizing a trade that will send center-field prospect Drew Waters, right-handed pitching prospect Andrew Hoffmann and a third minor leaguer to the Royals for the 35th pick in Sunday's draft, which has a $2.2 million slot value, sources tell ESPN.

Trying to trade while he still had a tiny bit of value.

His approach is absolutely atrocious.

Eh, not really. I am expecting to win 1 of 3 at best. Braves are playing better baseball right now.

France is good, and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets consideration for Alvarez's spot, but Vladdy Jr. was voted in at 1B and you can't really make an argument for France over Arraez. Rizzo could also easily make an argument with his 49/22/54 stat line and a higher OPS than France.

Cease has an argument for sure. He's been better than Cole and Nestor Cortez, as well as better than Martin or Blackburn, but both of those guys are their teams' only representative.

I know he has that dWAR working for him, but come on.

Waters was a strikeout machine. He couldn’t seem to turn it around

Entire Yankees pitching staff is struggling right now... Cole got beat up by Devers, Nestor only went 4, Montgomery and Taillon only 5 and each gave up some runs. Severino may be the best pitcher currently on staff.

Nestor I believe still deserves it, he is having a better season than Cole who maybe you could say before his Boston start was worthy.

Cole will have a replacement since his turn in the rotation is 2 days before the game
Yes won't play and will get a replacement
Harper isnt playing either

Edman was definitely more deserving. But there are snubs every year.

Austin Riley should be in the ASG. W/all due apologies to Arenado and Machado, he's been the best 3B'man in the NL, especially over the last month.
