They do that a week in advance, not a day

That's a very odd way to respond to that but ok

I mean, what did I say that was wrong?

He's a decent hitter, nothing scary though. Your lineup is very top heavy, again, it's ok.

If Ohtani escapes this whole Ippei thing, and he probably will, it will be the most suffocating top of the order in baseball.

It's a push w/the Braves top-3 but the Dodgers having 3 former MVP'S (and a reigning MVP in Ohtani) gives them a slight, slight edge.

I will say that the Dodgers lineup falls off a fricking cliff after Freeman.

Muncy, Heyward and Teoscar are washed. Outman is meh and Lux is a headcase.

Say it louder for the people in the back.

Will Smith is a good hitting catcher, but by no means a feared hitter.

I'll never fault a man for getting his money, but the Dodgers overpaid him w/that extension he just signed.

He also has a punchable face.

Not that the Dodgers need bulletin board material but this was a dumbass thing for him to say.

"We're not exactly a low-payroll team, but you got the Dodgers playing checkbook baseball," Mikolas said. "We're going to be the hardest-working group of Midwestern farmers we can be. ... It would be great to stick it to the Dodgers."

Lol no it’s not. Dodgers are better there.

Which one of Ohtani, Betts, Freeman are you taking Ozzie over?

But I mean, lets not act like Will Smith's offense hasn't decreased each of the last three years.

Still a solid hitter, that they got a good deal on, but again, not a scary hitter. He's a decent buffer in the LA lineup from the elite first 3 to the utter trash that's in the bottom 5.

Reds win 8-2, are 1-0.

Can’t go 162-0 if you don’t win the first one.

The Tigers are currently on pace for this, both record and run differential.

the white sox today became the 2nd team in baseball history to have 0 runs 0 walks 0 extra base hits & 10+ strikeouts on opening day

the only other time it happened was the giants facing perhaps the best pitcher ever, hall of famer bob gibson, on opening day 1967

Sadly, ESPN is phasing out MLB. I read something today that said they might use a clause to get out of the contract after this season. I remember 10-15 years ago, ESPN and ESPN2 had games on all day and night on Opening Day.
