Not according to these journalists.

quote:

However, last fall it was reported by Andrew Marchand at the New York Post that ESPN could choose to opt out of its MLB contract after the 2025 season as both sides had an opportunity to end the deal early.

Now, John Ourand reports at Puck that it is “likely” that ESPN will indeed exercise that right to end its MLB contract. However, he pegs it as a possibility at the end of this season, not 2025.

Yeah, as a lifelong Rockies fan, this is like bragging about killing a kitten. We are a terrible franchise with terrible owners and a fairly disinterested fan base of hipsters.

Wyatt had as good a first MLB game as I had expected. Give a week's worth of games to settle in and his power is going to be apparent to everyone.

Rookie of the year, possibly.

WILD game in LA tonight

basically the umps and grounds crew miscalled the rain and we went an inning longer and the cards were super pissed

the dodgers took a 2-0 lead into the 7th where we had arenado almost take 100 off the face, a catchers interference, and then a balk that at the end of the day resulted in the cards scoring 5

the dodgers now just completed the comeback in the 9th off a mookie homer and three straight hits behind him as we go into extras

the weather situation killed multiple balls at the wall all night. lance lynn somehow danced around 7 runners
