I'm just glad he didn't have any vision problems. That's the first thing I think about when I see that. Are there any leagues that mandate it in the lower levels?

Rays are wisely dumping the drab gray on the road while switching to the prettier navy blue. And are bringing these back for their 25th anniversary at home for 14 games. Also upgraded is the hat over the boring TB abbreviation.

The Rays could do some really cool things with the colors in that jersey. Or even if they just wear those all/most of the time.

You mean the helmets with face guards? I don’t think so.

Yes. I meant the helmet flaps. Should it be mandated at the lower levels?

I like those and the forrest green they used to wear. Do you wish they kept the Devil Rays name? Or is Rays better?

Mariners are also dumping their drab gray. They'll wear their prettier navy blue on the road now. I wish more teams would get rid of the ugly gray for a colored alternate. Nike wants all teams to stick with 4 jerseys plus the City alternate if they have one.

love it. Im all in on the pitch clock. Of all the terrible things theyve done with rule changes, they hit a monster grand slam with this

Agree wholeheartedly. I do think they should push it from :15 to :20 though. :15 just seems a tad bit too quick for the pitchers.

I can't wait to watch Kenley Jansen up against the clock. I cannot believe Boston gave him 2/$32M after that rule change was announced.

I can't wait to hear radio broadcasts - no more b.s. chatter between pitches, they're REALLY going to have to speed read the corporate sponsor spots now.

It's horrible. Everything feels rushed, choice has been taken away from the pitcher , he has to go with the catchers call, I guess I'd be ok if it was a 30 second clock but I don't enjoy watching the game with a 15 second clock. There is no time to digest the previous pitch and consider what the next pitch should be from an observers viewpoint. It's not a thinking mans game anymore, it's hurry up and get it done.
