Only thing that can hold the Padres back is their offense regressing.... Homer, Machado, Tatis, and Croneworth had fantastic seasons last year.... That pitching staff is fantastic and they still have 7 of their top 10 prospects....

It's pathetic that they're acting like this small market team. That Ricketsville/Marquee Network stuff must have them deep in the hole to have to layoff over 100 employees, lose your TV play by play guy to radio for the crosstown rival, and now sell off the best player on the team. I'd be surprised if other guys don't start asking for trades.

It’s like being an Astros fan. 3 years in a row of 100 losses or more, and then you start winning the division, and a World Series, and now you’re one of the top dogs in all of baseball. It’s pretty fun
