Does Baylor get invited to the big 10 once the big 12 falls apart?

I think it’s been awesome. Seems to be only Astro’s fans complaining about a shitty product.

I’ve watched a lot of different games and it’s been great.

It's not just Verlander or basically the entire Stros staff, but it's Kershaw, Hamels, Kluber, Ohtani, and so on. There is a big injury bug for MLB pitchers this year, and many are on a pitch count as it is. Despite the weakness in pitching, leaguewide batting stats are down.

Since I likely spawned this thread, I will address it now.

I'm a lifelong fan of baseball first, then the Astros. Actually, still liked Red Sox and Pete Rose long after deciding the Astros would be my cross to bear.

MLB looks like an exhibition league right now. Honestly, anything is better than nothing, but for those that consider themselves students of the game over the years, it's apparent that the players are struggling to take this shite serious.

Every team looks like a September call-up for those out of the playoffs. Games look more like women's softball with extra innings and now even 7 inning games.

The Astros have played 9 games and haven't faced a pitcher that has made it through the 5th inning. Astros pitching can't say much better, and are walking double digit batters per game, yet the Tigers have a pitcher that can K 9 straight.

In short, baseball is a religion to some, and what we're seeing thus far seems sacrilegious

The systematic rape scandal that resulted in a whopping one person seeing the inside of a jail cell?

Perhaps also one of the biggest mishandled media takedowns of the last decade??

I'm enjoying it. Little sloppy at times but it's still baseball.

I agree 100%. The players have been surprisingly sharp all things considered.

I'm entertained, but MLB didn't do a great job handling this mess, and all the pitching injuries across the board proves why.

Meh. Like the Waco Baptist Brigade doesn’t have the juice to minimize damage and sweep shite under the rug. Speaking of sweeping shite under the rug, ‘member that time that one Baylor basketball player murdered another in cold blood, and the head coach told everybody to lie and blame it on the murdered player for being a drug dealer only to distract from the inevitable scrutiny that would uncover his illegally paying players? I ‘member.

Wouldn’t bother me. I thought I’d enjoy it, but it all seems like they’re half assing everything.

The players half arse care. Hardly any energy. It all seems so generic.

I’ve been trying to get into it, but I care about as much as the players do. Not much. Which is depressing.

I hope football is different.
