Friend of mine is at Gilbert’s draft party here in Knoxville and Gilbert got a call from the Braves with a significant under slot $ amount offer right before they were on the clock. Agent told him to turn it down. Braves likely going way over slot at 35 or significantly over at both 35 and 57.

First 2 Braves picks are right handed pitchers. And with the way the Braves organization develops arms, I’m pretty happy about that.
