This reeks of bs.
just because yall are just learning about this doesnt mean the UNL fans are. Their message boards have been saying this shite for 3+ years also about how arrogant he was.
this isnt some new revelation, just new to the rest of CFB.

Apparently Trev Alberts pulled the trigger on Frost so early so that the team would have some Spunk when they played Oklahoma this weekend because everyone supposedly hated Frost so much.

People also don't realize how delusional the fan base was in supporting Frost even through last year's 3-9 season.
It was already quite objectively clear after the 2019 season that Frost didn't have it but many Husker fans held on to a bizarre level of hopium that things were always a year away. I remember on one reddit thread a critique I made of Frost last year was met by the response of 'winning isn't everything and I needed to be patient' Any real criticism before last year was completely buried making it difficult to pull the trigger.

If he was going 11-1 nobody would’ve given a frick
Instead you lose a lot and get canned and also rewarded very handsomely with generational wealth

Has that been going on the whole time, or just recently.
Still, Frost DID play for them right?
I understand Frost as a coach did not work out. But trying to burn him down is probably a sympton of the environment that has kept Nebraska crappy for so long.

Sounds like Scotty thought he could coast on his and Nebraska's reputation. Can't do that and win in college football.

True or not, it’s funny if Nebraska is trying to float this stuff out there to make themselves look better and place all of their problems onto Frost, when in reality it makes them look much much worse for not pulling the plug sooner
Nah, this is precisely the reason why Trev Alberts was hired. Alberts doesnt take issue with making difficult decisions, however unpopular they may be. Google what he did at Nebraska Omaha.

I stand corrected then. It just looks fishy because it’s coming out right after he’s let go to the rest of us.
