He is at 10.1 WAR for this season according to baseball- reference and has an average of 9.44 WAR for his first 5 seasons. Should be the MVP of the AL this year and will end his career as the greatest to ever do it.

So you're telling me that if the Angels had an average centerfielder rather than Mike Trout, they would have about 56 wins instead of their current 66?

They would be so bad without Mike Trout that they would only have 56 wins? Aka 5 games worse than the Atlanta Braves?

Why are people still using the Braves when the twins have a worse record?

How is Atlanta a dumpster fire? It's one of the most impressive rebuilds from a low salary team in modern history

Mike Trout is one of the greatest players ever, and he's stuck on a hopeless team going nowhere. And yes, he will be robbed of another MVP.

Yes. If they replaced him with any random bat from AAA

Angels should trade him. They have the worst farm system in baseball and they could get a couple legit major leaguers as well as a teams top 3 prospects from most teams

Mike Trout with the Angels = Barry Sanders with the Lions

Which would immediately turn that team into what the Angels are now.

How much longer can Trout keep this level of play up? He's only 25 and if he stays healthy maybe 5 years. The only concern I have is I can see him regress in defense and be moved to LF.
