Chiefs need a a reboot and had an all time run

Andy solidified his status as a HOF coach and career. But he and the franchise need a new start.

Drinkwitz to the chiefs would be the most logical move.

Problem with sports in today’s society. Andy Reid has been a winner up until this year. Why would he step down like the game passed him by ?

He is getting pretty old at this point. I wouldn’t be shocked if he retires after this year. I pretty much expect that he’ll retire within the next 3 or 4 years.

Still, if he retires, it should be due to his age. Not due to one mediocre season.

They were in the Super Bowl last year, chill. They had a number of injury issues this year, particularly on the offensive line.

He needs to drop some LBs. you can’t stay that big into old age. He’s 67…and has to be 300 pounds. Get on the shot and drop it Andy

This reminds me of when I was in Philly for the first time several years back. Stopped at a corner store for some beer and two jabroni’s were in there jabbering about needing to fire Andy Reid.

they’ve won 2 Super Bowl since so it wasn’t the worst move for them

So after a single season of missing the playoffs, you think he should be forced to retire?

I wouldn't be surprised but I just hope the Chiefs don't go with Nagy...ugh.

Eli Drinkwitz knows the area well and is an outstanding football coach

Knows the area well? Andy Reid isn't out recruiting high school players. No coach is going to want to take a job with a team that fires a coach who has won three Super Bowls in the last five years over one bad year.

If you walk in for a job interview and the interviewer tells you the position you are applying for was held by someone who won Employee of the Year three times in the last five years but the company fired him because he had a bad year last year are you going to want to take the job?
