All these people claiming NIL ruins the tournament because teams are plucking players off mid majors, don't realize it goes both ways.
You have kids like him that were highly recruited didn't get playing time and transfer to a school like McNeese to prove their worth. He's done that, so I'm sure he will end up on a P4 roster next year

Purdue lost the title game to UConn in 2024. No shame there. That UConn team might have been one of the 5 best college basketball teams of all time.
2024 UConn had a +140 point differential in the tournament. They broke the all time record, previously set by 2023 UConn (+120). Their dominance over everyone else in the tournament those two years was absurd.

I remember that uconn team because they beat Arkansas but didn’t remember the final. I just knew UConn dominated the entire tournament.

That missed dunk sequence may turn out to be huge. Would have put them up 15, instead it leads to an easy bucket for Duke, and now they have it under 10.
