Assuming that the CFP committee does the right thing. Michigan, Washington, and Florida State are undefeated Power 5 champions. Texas beat Alabama by multiple touchdowns in Tuscaloosa. There’s no objective argument for Alabama to make the playoff.

It has to be it. If it's not these 4 teams, there is no integrity to the league.

this means nothing

The question is: who are the best four teams?

I'm really curious to see what the BCS formula puts out.

1. Michigan
2. Washington
3. Texas
4. Florida State

Can’t pass up the Michigan-Texas championship game.

I do wish there was a way to have the semifinals be Michigan-Washington in the Rose Bowl. It would be a fitting send off for the PAC-12.

Committee should do the right thing for viewership. No one wants to watch FSU get beat 30-3 in the playoff by Michigan.

That's impossible to state.

That whole idea should have never been stressed like that.

I would believe Ohio St and Georgia are among the 4 best teams, but they have no business being in this playoff.

I'm not so sure they would. BTW, people keep forgetting TCU beat Michigan last season. The same TCU team people say shouldn't have been in the playoffs. Then what's that say about Michigan?

I would expect Michigan to beat FSU, but FSU's defense alone could keep it close.

You don't understand how the the world works.

Michigan
Washington
Texas
Bama

Is the seeding.

FSU will be told, eh...ACC, best player hurt, etc., etc...anything to put the SEC champ in...(oh, and Texas, in a twist, doesn't boot Alabama but FSU). Because by demanding Alabama, they have to take Texas over FSU...to justify.

FSU just went 13-0 and held Louisville to just 6 points. They won the ACC (P5). They absolutely belong and earned their place, including stomping LSU. They were consistently dominant all year.

This is really the most easy decision for the committee, Michigan, Washington, FSU, and then a Texas team who destroyed the SEC champ at home (Alabama).

If Clemson had a kicker they would’ve beat FSU as time expired

And Alabama needed a miracle to beat Auburn.

This isn’t complicated.
Michigan
Washington
FSU

F that. All these send offs and tributes are stupid, UW destroyed the league. Sucks that they had a good season.

Don't the committe basically just pick the top 4 from the BCS?

Someone must know what the computers would have top 4

They normally do, but the whole point of there being a committee is that they don't HAVE to.

Which I always viewed as bullshite.

Florida State isn’t that great:

• pulled away late from 6-6 G5 team
• needed prayer to beat 6-6 rival
• 3-point win vs. 4-8 conference foe
• lost by 10 at home

oh wait shoot this is my Alabama file one second
