What about the coaches and student athletes who are still on the team? Haha good lord the NCAA can’t get out of their own way

Stalllions on the CMU sidelines, along with the batshit crazy manifesto, is still the funniest part of the whole event

I don’t understand how you don’t punish them when they all admitted to cheating and then trying to hide evidence of said cheating.

Hahaha this is more funny than anything

I actually got exactly what I wanted. Michigan admitted cheating and hiding evidence.

The punishment doesn’t fit the crime but now everyone knows everything done from 2021-2023 is tarnished forever

I was only half arse paying attention to this story and had actually convinced myself that a lot of the stuff we heard when the story broke was just exaggerated fan fiction, like the disguises and the buying tickets to other games, etc.

Turns out that was all legit

I disagree about 23. They still went out and won after all this came out. Harbaugh was suspended for 3 games at the end, and the truth is your team or PSU could've put a stop to them but you didn't. They won those games plus the playoff games fair and square.

Basically this. Everything was confirmed but the NCAA decides to let them walk with just a fine.

Good thing they didn’t get free tattoos though

Going with what we all know, the NCAA is toothless and this punishment does nothing to hurt Michigan. So 2 guys who aren't going to coach anymore get show causes, Moore won't coach against the Michigan School for the Deaf and Blind, and then there is a fine for something that the boosters will make up in a heartbeat.

A postseason ban/forfeiting games would have been the only thing that actually would have hurt.

Given the timing, here is how this should work

2 year postseason ban… but for 2026 and 2027

Recruits can decide to go somewhere else

2025 seniors are not impacted

Everyone else can choose to transfer

This is so easy…

The games after the news broke, I agree. But didn’t this arise after about 6 weeks into the season?

If the NCAA had evidence any games/teams were illegally scouted before then, it’s absolutely tarnished.
