I’m starting to think our 2024 national champions were cheating.

You seem to be handling this in a totally normal way

Michigan insider from Rivals
quote:
According to three sources I have spoken with, the draft of the Notice of Allegations featured in the ESPN report appears to be a "really old version."
Michigan is working from a "different version." I can not confirm whether this means Michigan has received the NOA, or has an updated draft.
According to one source, the mood continues to be similar to Josh's earlier reporting: "Michigan is unbothered."
I will provide any other details I can gather.

This is a fact
They should have been ineligible

Could be true but Michigan insiders have been remarkably and consistently wrong throughout the entire scandal.

Louisville's title was vacated because we supposedly benefitted from what happened (which wasn't the case). This is a classic case of a school benefitting from their cheating actions. If anyone should have a title vacated, it should be Michigan.

Michigan wasn’t stealing signs during the 2023 playoffs, so not sure what your point is.
In fact, Michigan wasn’t stealing signs in any of their big games of 2023
OSU
PSU
Wash
Bama

Yeah, the championship isn't getting vacated. People need to get over that. If anything happens, it's for the upcoming season. Either bowl bans or suspensions for Moore.

We don’t have any proof they weren’t cheating in the playoffs.

But how did Michigan begin to gain momentum to even be good in 2022 and 2023?
Oh that's right, by cheating and stealing the other team's signs. That in turn helped recruiting and helped them in the transfer portal.
But nothing to see here

Won’t stop Alabama from claiming the national title. They claim Harper’s Bazaar national titles in football.

So this program was illegally sneaking people onto the sideline to spy on the opposition and filming signs and whatever else. Which coincides with the only time these pompous fricks have been good in decades?
While hundreds of millions of dollars change hands in this sport.
How is this not an instant death penalty and how are there not lawsuits being thrown around?

It will be interesting to see how McCarthy’s game translates to the NFL. Smooth transition or deer in headlights? I’m inclined to go with the latter.

Deal with it. There will be no vacated wins and no trophies taken away.

hmm but they held Stroud to 3 points at home in the 2nd half
Didn't Northwestern hold OSU scoreless until like 2 minutes left in the 1st half that year?

Tressel got a 5 yr show cause and Pruitt 6 yrs. I’m sure scUM coaches that scrubbed data and hid critical info from the NCAA will be just fine.

By your tone, it seems you understand Michigan deserves to forfeit quite a few wins, or worse, even though you know it won’t happen.
