And has the #3 class on 24/7

Pretty impressive Harbaugh has been able to recruit so well nationally. Just odd that he's done it while only pulling one kid from Michigan.

I think Stanford is the type of school to recruit nationally as well so that could be more of his wheelhouse.

Perhaps the kids in Michigan and Ohio are not into sleep overs with grown men

They hired a high school head coach from NJ as their recruiting coordinator I believe. Obviously was an awesome short term move.

That is insane. How do survive in the Midwest and not poach from Ohio?

Harbaugh is next tier coach - gone global.

man, while it sounds good I don't know if i'd like that if I was a Michigan alum. it just doesn't sound like the way to garner program support in the long run. I know as an LSU alum I wouldn't want a team with almost no louisianians on it.

Lots of overnight stays out of state for Harbaugh.

Seeing as he's now the LB/Special Teams coach I think it will be more than just a move made for short term gains.

I don't know how this works long term. I could see doing it at Stanford (Cali, Academics, etc.). I just see alot of transfers after a while. Hope he pulls it off, Big 10 needs Michigan to be better.

after what he did at Stanford and sf he's a household name nationally so no need to stay regional.

It's more of an indictment on the high school football in MI...

home boy stuff is cute.
winning games is the objective.

On rivals, Michigan has exacty 1 five star and 8 four stars this year.

Louisiana has 17 four stars.

Michigan has high end academics which may dictate going far afield. Harbaugh coached the 49ers to prominence. He is known throughout the land.
His #3 recruiting class may become #1. There are still a couple of weeks to go.
