guys like Moses and Fournette who peaked with the hype as teenagers. It's always been common just didn't have the internet hype machine of modern times. LLWS shows us every year 12-13 year olds who will never be as good at baseball as they are then.

I can name 50 more hyped athletes than Michelle Wie.
And everyone knew Anna wasn't a great player, but she was gorgeous. Still is.

More than half of those have lived up to the hype/billing through college sports and professional sports.
Your top four have earned it. Then you have Freddy Adu, then three MORE who earned it. Not certain about or who Sebastian Telfair, Andrew Wiggins or Kwame Brown (yes I can go look) the names tickle the memory. THEN you have Connor McDavid, Neymar, Lew Alcindor (Kareem) top of their game. The fricking Great One, Tyson, then Capriati who was a bit more of a shooting star.
This whole list is flawed for this discussion.

Michelle Wie probably already knows she doesn’t like Giuliani or Bannon, so why’s she listening to their podcast?

Oh lest we forget. She was not only going to be the female Tiger Woods but she was going to play on the Men's tour no less.
quote:
Few will forget how Wie, at 14, had a second-round 68 to finish only one shot away from making the cut in the men's Sony Open in Hawaii.
quote:
As Wie dominated the headlines, so the tour's tournaments were steadfastly ignored by press and TV alike. Wie, inadvertently, exacerbated the problem when she said that her long-term ambition was to play among the men.
quote:
Wie "fever" first took hold in the UK during the 2004 Curtis Cup match at Formby in which the then 14-year-old schoolgirl played on the winning American team.
After all, it was only four months earlier that Wie had created Tiger-type waves with her performance in the aforementioned Sony Open.
quote:
Wie was given a sponsor's exemption to the 2004 Sony Open in Hawaii, becoming the fourth, and youngest, female to play a PGA Tour event. Her second round score of 68 was the lowest ever by a woman in a PGA Tour event, though she went on to miss the cut in the tournament. While missing the cut by 1 stroke she bettered the 36 hole score of 47 men including 4 major winners and matched the scores of 15 more men including 3 more major winners.
She was going to break the male-female division in golf. That's how much hype she got as a teenager. She was going to do something nobody had ever done. Even Tiger.

If not for another human to look what is the reason for dressing like a whore? This is one I could never put my finger on.
