Can you explain? Is it because I set it up with the 4 byes and not the actual "rankings"?

Miami's best win is Florida.

And if I’m remembering correctly that was before Lagway started playing. Be a much different game today.

Keeping Miami nakes it very clean for the committee No worry about any 3 loss SEC team besides UGA which is easily justifiable They take the road of least resistance
Been trying to tell my Alabama friends.

We needed Miami to win yesterday and win next week.

Now, it’s a no brainer to just put Miami in and be done with it. They are not going to drop them behind Alabama with Alabama’s unforgivable loss to Oklahoma.

I hate Bama……BUT Miami DEFINITELY should not be in. No matter how much the media has been pumping them and Cam Ward up

any Alabama talk should be a complete non-starter at this point.

Ole Miss has a 3pt loss to LSU, 3pt Loss to UK, and a 7pt loss to UF on the road

Miami has bandwagon fans.

It’s a pretty small bandwagon based on all available data points:
-attendance
-ratings
-national interest

They haven’t been relevant since starter jackets were in fashion.

If Oregon whips Pedo State, do they drop below Ohio State?

Beat USC by 3 touchdowns on the road and beat Georgia by 3 scores. They have stronger wins than Bama. Ole Miss should have moved ahead of Bama the week they lost to OU by 3 touchdowns.

Bama has Georgia, Blowout wins over Mizzou and LSU and a win over South Carolina. So wins over four ranked teams when the polls come out.

OM blew out South Carolina on the road with a 24 pt victory and beat Georgia by 18. Both of those are better than any Bama win. OM won't move ahead of Bama but they should have after the 21 point loss.

But a bad home loss to Kentucky. Again, Bama has more quality wins.

Miami has teetered on the edge of multiple losses to well below average teams. They’ve been rescued by the officials a couple of times. No way they deserve to be in.

I agree. Easy for the committee to put either Acc runner up smu or Miami.

Definitely. I think a conference championship loss hurts them more than any team that is already in. If they get blown out they could fall behind Indiana all the way to 10 or 11.

It’s the easy thing to do but wouldn’t be right. If SMU loses to Clemson they are the exact same as Miami except they would have at least played 2 ranked teams and lost to both of them. Miami played nobody and lost twice. Both teams best win is Louisville.
